Erosion? How has Xwejni Bay been eroded and the layers around Bajda Qolla? |
| Next » |
Bajda Qolla found between Xwejni Bay and Qbajjar Bay, near Marsalforn, was formed much like it is found today. The area around it also. No layers have been eroded away. If the top of the Qolla is sandstone then the whole layer around it and those below it must have been eroded away from the area around it. When you look at the area this seems unlikely. Much like Ayers Rock. For Ayers Rock to be created by erosion the land around it has to have been washed away. Ayers Rock is huge and the land is very flat around it. Thats a lot of land. Ayers Rock was formed where it is and the land around it has not changed much since its creation. http://www.geulogy.com/introdis-qollabajda-tony.html
